Syzygy is an immersive mixed-reality work that invites audiences to compose together. Participants enter its world as posthuman immigrants, learning how to inhabit an unfamiliar environment, and their movement, collaboration and decisions shape a shared ecosystem of spatial sound and responsive visuals. Composition here is the design and navigation of worlds: the evolving ecosystem can be experienced directly, or read as a score for live performance.

The work asks whether immersive systems can offer ways of arriving into new worlds that resist colonial repetition, and treats intelligence as something that emerges through listening, adaptation and collective world-building, rather than in individual creators or computational systems.
