Brutalust’s fourth body of work, and our first physical release, on a limited tape with Crow Versus Crow. Seven pieces mainly for piano and percussion, with musical saw, theremin, synthesisers and voice, layered with distortion and live electronics. They draw on Modernist poetry, contemporary solo piano and esoteric philosophy, and one deconstructs Galina Ustvolskaya’s 6th Piano Sonata. Recorded at Phipps Hall, Huddersfield, in March 2022.
